Januar is a Danish financial infrastructure service for crypto companies, founded in 2021, offering IBAN accounts, payment services and real-time settlement through its own payment network. In 2026 the company received CASP authorisation under MiCA from the Danish FSA, in addition to its existing PSD2 licence — a dual licensing setup that lets Januar offer both fiat payments and stablecoin infrastructure under the same regulatory framework across the EEA.
