The initiative brings together stakeholders from multiple parts of the ecosystem — from industry organizations and educational communities to exchanges, service providers, investment solutions and dedicated diversity projects. What they have in common is that they stand behind the ambition to open crypto and web3 to more types of people and competencies.

Industry organizations and event environments

Among the industry organizations are Blockchain Sweden and the Nordic Blockchain Association, both of which bring together players across countries and sectors and have promoted diversity and inclusion as part of their work with the web3 and blockchain ecosystem. Event environments such as the Digital Assets Forum and UN:BLOCK provide meeting places for professionals, entrepreneurs and stakeholders to discuss developments in the market — including how the diversity perspective can be put into practice.

Exchanges, infrastructure and services

On the infrastructure side, the initiative is supported by crypto exchanges BTCX and K33, both of which are established players in the market. In addition, crypto-related companies such as CryptoClarity, First Block, January, Krypto Labs and Thrilld Labs participate, which in various ways develop solutions and services at the intersection of crypto, payment infrastructure, security and regulated finance.

Investment, education, media and diversity initiatives

Among investment and savings players we find Stack By Me, which makes it easier to build and manage portfolios in a structured way. The educational institution KTH participates as an academic environment with heavy technology expertise, while Apricot Venture represents a venture that combines investment, construction and consulting at the intersection of technology and capital. In addition, the diversity initiative Sl<3 supports the initiative, together with the media house Kaupr, which is both behind the event and covers the development editorially.

Shared ambition -- and opening to more supporters

Together, supporters show that diversity is now an issue that is taken seriously across multiple parts of the ecosystem — from education and community work to infrastructure and capital. For Kaupr, the goal is for the collaboration around “Diversity in Crypto in the Nordics” to be a launching point for several concrete projects, partnerships and meeting places that will make it easier for new groups to find their place in crypto and web3 through 2026.
