Kaupr launches directory of companies in crypto, blockchain and digital finance

Kaupr launches Onchain Pages — a directory of companies that are part of or moving into onchain. From crypto exchanges and fintech to traditional banks and financial institutions. Around 30 companies at launch, growing continuously.

July 21, 2026

With Onchain Pages, investors, professionals and builders gain a new tool to explore and follow the development of onchain companies across the Nordics, Baltics and beyond — particularly relevant as the industry is expected to grow in the wake of MiCA's rollout across Europe.

Not just crypto

Onchain Pages is not just a crypto directory. It covers the full spectrum of companies moving toward onchain — including players like DNB and Visa, which are not crypto companies but are actively positioning themselves in the onchain-based system taking shape.

Mature sectors build registries

Mature sectors typically build more than ongoing news coverage — they develop registries, databases and reference tools that make it possible to understand who actually exists in a market. Onchain has long been covered as a stream of individual events, without a single place to look up which companies do what and where. Onchain Pages is an attempt to fill that gap.

Trimmed start, continuous growth

Kaupr is not launching with the full directory at once. At launch, the selection is trimmed to around 30 companies, with the rest added continuously. This is not just a practical limitation — it reflects how Kaupr works: openly and iteratively, with visible progress rather than a finished product launched all at once.

The news feed connects directory and coverage

At the top of Onchain Pages, rotating news stories are displayed, drawn from Kaupr's news archive and limited to articles connected to companies in the directory. One spot is always reserved for the most recent addition — a way to make growth visible. Each company is listed with category, country or region and a short description of what they do and how they are relevant in an onchain context.

Years in the making

The directory has been in planning for several years. What made the solution technically possible now is that companies and articles were recently connected in the CMS. For a sector like onchain, still in the process of being taken seriously by traditional finance, this kind of investment in structured reference infrastructure is itself a signal that the industry expects to last.
