Swedish industry association Blockchain Sweden and Nordic media house Kaupr share a common goal: strengthening knowledge, innovation and adoption of blockchain technology across the Nordics. The parties have now formalised the collaboration in an agreement.

Blockchain Sweden is a non-profit industry association working to strengthen the innovation and business climate for companies working with blockchain technology in Sweden. The organisation brings together stakeholders across digital assets, fintech, developer environments and digital infrastructure to promote knowledge, collaboration and adoption across the ecosystem.
For Kaupr, which covers the entire Nordic region, the agreement strengthens its presence within the Swedish blockchain ecosystem — while for Blockchain Sweden, it provides a platform to reach a broader Nordic audience.
Morten Myrstad, founder and CEO of Kaupr:"Sweden is the most mature blockchain market in the Nordics, and Blockchain Sweden is the hub of that ecosystem. For us, this is a natural way to strengthen our Nordic coverage."
Johan Toll, chair of Blockchain Sweden:"Kaupr has built a credible editorial platform for the entire Nordic region. Through this collaboration, we see great opportunities to strengthen innovation, visibility and adoption of blockchain technology across Sweden and the Nordics."
The collaboration has a prior history. Earlier this year, Kaupr served as a community partner at the launch of the Blockchain Sweden Industry Report 2025 — and it is from that contact that this partnership has grown.
Blockchain Sweden is also leading a Vinnova-funded initiative focused on increasing understanding and adoption of blockchain technology within: financial systems, AI and digital infrastructure, defence and resilience, cybersecurity, sustainable and traceable supply chains.
The agreement covers cooperation on communications and the distribution of news, articles and analysis, as well as participation in seminars, events and working groups. Both parties contribute their own resources and cover their own costs.
The agreement explicitly states that the partnership does not limit Kaupr's editorial independence. Kaupr remains an editorially independent media channel governed by press ethics, and both parties retain full copyright over their own content. The agreement takes effect immediately, runs indefinitely and can be terminated by either party at any time.
