Norwegian TV personality Svein Østvik is master of ceremonies when the XRP community meets at Litteraturhuset in Oslo on 5 September. Speakers include NBX, on stablecoins and its plan for a regulated digital asset bank.

The conference is held at Litteraturhuset in Oslo on 5 September. Østvik, known in Norway as Charter-Svein, has been brought in to an event that according to the website is made for investors and people interested in crypto, with a programme covering the cryptocurrency XRP, the payments company Ripple and tokenisation.
Hartmann is the founder and administrator of XRP Family & Ripple Community, described on the website as the largest XRP community in the Nordics. He opens the conference himself. The event is supported by the XRP Ledger Foundation, the body that stewards development of the XRP Ledger blockchain.
Christian Omvik, Director of Partnerships at Norwegian Block Exchange, will speak about the link between traditional finance and DeFi — decentralised finance, meaning financial services that run directly on a blockchain without a bank in between — and about NBX's ambition to become a regulated bank for digital assets. Omvik previously led the payments app The Flip App, in which NBX now holds a stake.
Asad Qureshi, security architect and adviser at Devoteam Norway, will speak about property tokenisation — representing shares in buildings digitally on a blockchain, so they can be split up and traded more quickly — and about the technical and regulatory obstacles that remain.
Beyond Omvik and Qureshi, the speaker list is dominated by XRP influencers. Clemens Zeh takes the big picture on XRP, the XRP Ledger and Ripple, while Dr Kamilah Stevenson, author and onchain analyst, works on tokenised real-world assets and institutional capital flows on the XRP Ledger.
Bradley Kimes, who runs the channel Digital Perspectives and the event XRP Las Vegas, is sending a video greeting. Fatema I. Sobh, a pathologist from Michigan, describes on video how she found XRP and began building on the XRP Ledger.
Ripple itself is not on the speaker list.
