Goobit is now expanding the range of available payment solutions in its BTCX services and strengthening the ability for customers in Sweden and the rest of Europe to buy bitcoin in an easier and more flexible way.

Goobit AB expands BTCX Express Exchange with Swish payments and enables Swedish customers to buy bitcoin with Swish in addition to existing card and bank payments. Last fall, Goobit Group was approved and onboarded with a leading pan-European account-to-account payment provider, allowing for local payment methods and real-time bank transfers in several EU markets.

The addition of Swish complements existing payment solutions such as card and bank payments and strengthens the availability for buying bitcoin via BTCX Express in Sweden.
Swish is a Swedish mobile payment service used for fast transfers between individuals, companies and organizations via their mobile phone. The service is linked to the user's bank account and has become one of the most widely used payment methods in Sweden. The service is comparable to the Vipps app in Norway and the MobilePay app in Denmark and Finland, which are owned and operated by Vipps MobilePay.
Last fall, Goobit Group was approved and onboarded with a leading pan-European account-to-account payment provider. Goobit described this as an important step in the company's European expansion strategy, and through the collaboration, BTCX can offer local payment methods and real-time bank transfers in key markets in the EU, improving accessibility, customer experience and enabling scaling in line with MICA regulations.
