Morten Søberg works as director for government relations at SpareBank 1. He is also a member of supervisory board of Noregs Bank - the central bank of Norway. He has previously served as deputy minister of finance in Jens Stoltenberg’s second government. Søberg is one of the founders of the NFT-project Svalbard.Money. In 2022 he published an accompanying book (written in Newnorwegian and Russian) called “Svalbard! Pengar!” (Spartacus forlag) about money, Arctic mining, and real proof of work.
