Becoming Co-Founders

Magnus Jones and Torstein Thinn are both experienced and well-known profiles in the Norwegian and Nordic crypto environment. Now they are obviously in the process of creating something new together. A press release from Taxbit states that they are both co-founders of a new company, Cointegrity. Thinn, who has previously worked at both the Swedish Tax Agency and NBX, now comes most recently from hedge fund platform AKJ Group. Jones, who is a leading speaker and representative of the Nordic Blockchain Association, joined EY Norway about a year ago, after having been blockchain manager at EY for many years.

Neither Jones nor Thinn will say anything more about Cointegrity now.

Crucial with local expertise

Taxbit is an intnernational and professional tax and accounting platform for regulatory compliance for digital assets, headquartered in Utah, USA.

“Local expertise is critical to our mission at Taxbit - to drive innovation and create regulatory clarity globally,” says Michelle O'Connor, Vice President of Global Market Expansion at Taxit. “In both Europe and Latin America, authorities are taking great strides towards developing advanced regulatory frameworks for digital assets. Engaging these global industry leaders is critical to maintaining a harmonious dialogue with government, ensuring our clients receive top-notch service and advice, and achieving our growth goals in this rapidly evolving industry,” said O'Connor.
