BTCHEL is an ambitious new Bitcoin conference that brings international-level speakers and thought leaders to Finland. The event will gather around 1,200 attendees over two days to network, learn, and engage in discussions about Bitcoin’s future – both as an investment and a societal phenomenon.
The lineup includes major names such as cybersecurity expert Mikko Hyppönen, MP and economic commentator Martin Paasi, and author and venture capitalist Jeff Booth. Legendary Finnish Bitcoin developer Martti Malmi will also join to share his story – he worked directly with Satoshi Nakamoto and was involved in the first-ever Bitcoin-to-fiat transaction.
From the Bitcoin Treasury Scene, one of the leading speakers at the event is Adam Back, Co-founder & CEO, Blockstream.
Also, the Nordic front runners in the treasury space, Sander Andersen, CEO H100 Group & Finpeers, and Christoffer De Geer, CEO BTC AB, are among the speakers.
The speaker list also includes representatives from two of the Nordic crypto exchanges, Thomas Brand, Head of Institutional Sales & Research, Coinmotion, and Christian Ander, Founder and CEO, BTCX, which also recently launched a Bitcoin treasury strategy.
From the Norwegian Bitcoin community, Sondre Rydningen Torberntsson, Founder and CEO of Satoshi Consult, is among the speakers.
Finland is a beacon of innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation, making it the perfect host for a Bitcoin-centered conference, according to the organizers.
Renowned for its stable economy, forward-thinking policies, and vibrant tech ecosystem, Finland has embraced the future like few other nations. As a country where trust, transparency, and technological excellence thrive, Finland reflects the very principles that Bitcoin stands for.
From its dynamic capital, Helsinki, to its breathtaking natural landscapes, Finland offers an inspiring backdrop for thought leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts to shape the next chapter of Bitcoin’s journey.
