The industry association Blockchain Sweden, which was launched last November, is growing, and now counts 14 ordinary member companies and three advisory members. Kaupr accompanies and shares a brief presentation of the member companies via our new company pages.
The Official launch of Blockchain Sweden happened in November of last year. Ten companies were at that time members. The new members after the launch are Artely, Lingon, True and Valuno. Scroll down to find the list of all members, with links to a brief description of each individual company.
Around 100 people (see picture) attended the launch meeting in Stockholm, where Kaupr was also present.
In connection with the launch, a mapping of the Swedish blockchain industry, including what those polled considered opportunities and challenges for themselves and for the industry. The association has presented the insights from this report to the media, politicians and others.
Since its launch, Blockchain has, among other things, entered into a strategic partnership with the Nordic Blockchain Association. Blockchain Sweden has also participated in podcasts, panels and debates, including at Stockholm Fintech and during Crypto Adoption Week in the Nordics 2025.
The association has also engaged in issues related to the framework conditions for the industry. Among other things, Blockchain Sweden has submitted comments on the Ministry of Finance's memorandum on reporting crypto ownership (DAC 8 och CARF).
In collaboration with Riksdag member Oliver Rosengren, Blockchain Sweden has also organized a seminar in the Riksdag on the theme: “Does Sweden keep on att halka efter inom Blockchainteknik?”. The association, which has its first regular annual meeting in Stockholm on 23 April, chaired by Pehr Granfalk (Secretary General), Johan Toll (Co-founder), Erik Vesterlund (Co-founder), Johan Wallenius (Co-founder) and Edward Leo (Head of Research & Market Insight)
