Kaupr AS is a Web3 media startup incorporated in 2022. Starting in January 2025, Kaupr is scaling its business into the Nordics with kaupr.io as a news site and content hub, featuring newsletters, a YouTube channel, podcasts, and events, along with a broad and active presence on social media.
Kaupr sees itself as a modern media company, with a presence, relationships, and engagement with business, investor, and Web3 communities across the Nordics. Morten Myrstad is the founder and editor of Kaupr. As editor of Kaupr.io, Myrstad shares news and insights about digital and virtual economies. As a speaker, moderator, and facilitator, Myrstad helps businesses and managers gain insight into the future of the Internet and the future of finance.
Kaupr launched its first hybrid conference, Unleash by Kaupr, in September 2023. Since then, the company has launched a series of live events, either independently or in partnership with others, such as Crypto Adoption in the Nordics, State of Crypto, Diverse in Crypto, Din Kryptoskatt, and State of Bitcoin in the Nordics.
Kaupr publishes three newsletters: Next by Kaupr, the flagship newsletter covering all Kaupr news; Future of Finance, a focused newsletter about the intersection of traditional finance, fintech, and crypto; and Unleash Events, an event calendar that keeps readers updated on upcoming events hosted by Kaupr and its partners.
Kaupr continuously produces video interviews and talks with Nordic and international business and thought leaders, hosted by Morten Myrstad. The interviews are published on our YouTube channel, Kaupr Media, and are also embedded on Kaupr.io, where they are expanded with additional text and context. We are also preparing to launch a podcast named Future of Finance.
Kaupr maintains a presence and daily activity on all social media platforms that are important and relevant for businesses, investors, and builders in Web3, especially LinkedIn and X (Twitter). For consumers or retail investors, we also have a page on Facebook. To engage with Gen Z, we have started sharing interactive and visual content on Instagram and TikTok.
